This fierce/marvelous, shimmering book of poetry that Ellen Hinchcliffe wrote to her mother, the painter Kathy Glover, is a treasure to hold in my hands. I've been reading some of the poetry for the past few years, always moved by a daughter's sweet, raw love for her madre- some of these poems I'm reading for the first time and what a pleasure to read out loud. Kathy Glover's paintings are also included, her strength and vision made visible.
